Thank you for your interest in joining the North Carolina Railway Museum/New Hope Valley Railway. We have a variety of membership options listed below. Please select the membership level that you wish. After selecting the desired membership level, click "Next" and you will be prompted to enter your name, address and various other contact information. If you select the Family Membership option, after joining as the "primary" member, you will be able to add up to three family members living in your household to your membership.

We also offer memberships to our Youth Crew for individuals of High School Age, 14-17. Due to the additional need for parent or guardian approval, a Youth Crew Application is still a paper application, see link: https://www.triangletrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/YouthMemberFormv1.pdf

You will also be given an opportunity to pay your first-year dues by credit card as part of the on-line application process. If you would prefer to pay by check, you may mail it to our mailing address (bottom right corner of this page) to the attention of our Membership Chairperson.

Family Membership - $50.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 4 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Family membership includes an individual member, 18 years of age or older, plus up to 3 additional family members of any age residing in the same household. Only members 18 years of age or older may have voting rights. Members who joined after 2023 are granted voting rights after one year of membership upon showing the Membership Committee that 50 hours have been volunteered to the organization during the year. The process for new members to obtain voting rights will be communicated in our newsletter, the Tarheel Telegrapher, each August.

Individual - $30.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments This membership is for one person, 18 years old of age or older. Members who joined after 2023 are granted voting rights after one year of membership upon showing the Membership Committee that 50 hours have been volunteered to the organization during the year. The process for new members to obtain voting rights will be communicated in our newsletter, the Tarheel Telegrapher, each August.

Lifetime Membership - $1,000.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited Individuals 18 years of age or older may become lifetime members.

Senior Membership - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Senior Membership is available to members who are 60 years of age or older.

Silver Meteor - $100.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments In addition to regular membership benefits, Silver Meteor membership additionally includes the choice of EITHER one family four-pack of tickets to either the Halloween or Santa rides plus a cab visit before or after the ride plus a behind the scenes look at the Garden Railway OR a one-year annual membership to the National Railway Historical Society (NRHS). If you select this membership level, you will be contacted by a member of our Membership Committee to select your additional benefit.
